About Streib

Streib Electric Company has been a dream of owner Tom Streib since he got into the field in 1995. His dream became reality in 2004. Tom is a native of Shrewsbury in St. Louis, Missouri. His idea was that having a core attitude of genuine customer service will always attract people looking for help with their electric. Tom knew that customers can get electric work done anywhere, but what makes a superior job experience means keeping clean and tightly done. It means that the parts of the job the client doesn't see are just as important, if not more important as what they initially asked for. A better job means genuine happiness for you and the electrician in the short and long-term. Simple attention to detail is a magic formula for success.

Since its beginnings, Streib Electric has expanded the company to 40 people strong. Because electric work touches so many other parts of an efficient and comfortable home, it was important that Streib should expand into areas of technology solutions that clients were taking interest in. SOJO Audio & Video was created in 2007 as a division of Streib focusing on home theater, intelligent lighting, custom-built media rooms and much more. Where some people think adding technology and comforts, actually results in energy efficiency. It's a win-win. Still the SOJO team knows that the more sophisticated a system gets built, still it must be dead-simple to operate by the homeowner.

In 2008, Streib Security was created to address the integration of security, lighting, sensors, alarms and cameras. Streib hopes that by having a company that offers great solutions to make homes comfortable, the company will continue to attract new and excited clients and provide a great workforce to connect with them.
